World State:
for Beleth Lavellan
Beleth Lavellan
Once an archer and hunter for clan Lavellan, Beleth attended the conclave as a spy, knowing that the events here would have an impact on the world at large. She had no idea how truthful this would come to be, when she stumbled across a blighted monster attempting to sacrifice a woman, and intervened.
Solas romanced
Beleth found herself attracted to the mysterious apostate known as Solas, and the two of them eventually initiated a relationship. After he left her, revelations of his true nature, years of plotting against each other, and a great deal of pining, they were finally reunited, journeying together into the Fade.
Accepted being Herald
While Beleth's own personal thoughts might not have been quite in line with it, she accepted the title of Herald of Andraste and encouraged others to see her as an agent of divine powers.
Tempest
When it came time to choose a specialization, Beleth became a Tempest, using alchemical mixtures that wreathe her in flames or frost, providing tactical advantages for both attack and defense.
Recruited the Mages
When the time came to choose between the mages and the templars, Beleth went to meet with Fiona, the Grand Enchanter, in order to strike an alliance. After contending with the Venatori Alexius, and allying with Dorian Pavus, Beleth eventually entered into an alliance with the rebel mages.
Nemesis of Samson
In recruiting the mages, Beleth made a fierce enemy of the red Templar leader, a man named Samson. He would eventually be defeated by her hand after she learned about his armor, and used a special enchantment designed to render it useless when they fought.
Celene died
After finding out that Celene set fire to elven alienages and murdered hundreds of elves in order to look stronger to the nobles supporting her, Beleth decided to go ahead and stand by while she was assassinated by her cousin, Grand Duchess Florianne. Beleth swooped in to avenge her, of course, turning her death into a savvy political ploy. Just like the deaths of the elves.
Briala rules through Gaspard
With Celene dead, Gaspard was finally in position to be able to grasp the throne. However, Beleth had ample information that proved that Gaspard had been plotting his own insurrection against Celene, which she provided to the elven ambassador, Briala. With the blackmail and backing of the Inquisition, Briala became Marquise of the Dales, and is the secret power behind the Orlesian throne.
Hawke died
When Beleth, her companions, the Warden, and Hawke, all got trapped in the Fade, they were stopped from their escape by a massive demon. Hawke was the one who fought the demon while the others escaped, leaving them trapped in the Fade.
Wardens stayed
Despite Clarel's machinations, Beleth felt like it would be a poor idea to rob an entire country of their Gray Wardens, whatever they had done. She also recalled that the Wardens and the Dalish had long been allies. Whatever the case, the Wardens remained in Orlais.
Abelas allied
Surprising absolutely no one, Beleth was eager to perform the various rituals for approaching the Well of Sorrows, and upon meeting Abelas and the other sentinels, allied with them in order to stop Corypheus from taking the knowledge within the well.
Drank from the well
Much to the dismay of her lover, Beleth, a devout Dalish through and through, was eager to drink from the Well of Sorrow herself, rather than lose yet more Elven knowledge to the machinations of Morrigan.
Leliana is Divine
Beleth has always been fond of Leliana, her spymaster and friend. Seeing that they shared similar views of how changes must be made, to both Thedas and the Chant, Beleth was happy to use the influence of the Inquisition to secure Leliana the position of the Divine.
Saved Clan Lavellan
When Beleth's clan was threatened by the Duke of Wycome, Beleth sprang to action, mobilizing aid to save both her family, and the elves of the Wycome alienage. After much turmoil and careful moves, the Duke laid dead, and Beleth's clan well and alive, integrating with the elves of Wycome, with her Keeper on their council.
Redeemed Solas
Even after the reveal of Solas' true nature and the plans that he is setting into motion, Beleth knew that her lover was not the monster that history claimed Fen'Harel to be. She vowed that she would stop him, for his own good, and would save the Dread Wolf from himself.
Inquisition part of Chantry
Wary of Solas' warnings of future strife, but unwilling to leave the Inquisition a standing army, Beleth consolidated the Inquisition, letting it be incorporated into the Chantry as a much smaller and specialized force, under the heading of Divine Victoria.
